For the first time in Poznan a festival of murals "Outer spaces" will take place. The event will be held on 16 -18 May 2011.

The festival is organized by the Inner Art Association from Poznan. The assumption of the festival is to combine the artistic activities, related to the culture of Urban art, with the revitalization of urban space, essential to our city. Above all, however, it is an event aiming to join the efforts of many involved people, artists, residents of selected buildings, sympathetic officials, entrepreneurs in order to create a new quality, to show the impact of grassroots initiatives on space. The guests of the festival will include among others: artists from Spain – Kenor - explores the world of abstraction and expressive geometry. In his work he captures the essence of the climate and lifestyle of Barcelona, blending the inspiration from classic painting and graphics with the medium of aerosol, the dynamics of the street and Sam3 - his favorite means of artistic expression is the black paint; best known for his large murals showing people in absurd, fairytale situations. From France - Remed - his works are pure, synthetic and clear. The flat surfaces of color and its sleek edges provide the murals with elegance and class.
