The teams of students from Poznan won the second and fourth place in the national finals of the "Imagine Cup 2011". The competition is organized by the Microsoft company.
In the national finals 5 best student projects were presented, including 2 prepared by the students from Poznan universities. In the final classification the second place was won by Poznan Technical University team "eyePUTers", presenting the software to diagnose eye diseases. The team "Terrarium" from the Adam Mickiewicz University, who presented a system allowing to automatically oversee the state of levees, finished fourth. The team from the Technical University of Lodz won the Polish final of the competition and will represent our country in the world finals, which will be held in the summer in New York. |
