The 7^th edition of the Competition "Prize of the City of Poznań for outstanding doctoral dissertation" and "Prize of the City of Poznań for outstanding master theses" is resolved.

This year’s edition was received with a great interest, the evidences of which were 50 application forms submitted to the Poznań City Hall (42 master’s theses and 8 doctoral dissertations).

The prizes are awarded for doctoral and master’s dissertations related to the topics associated with Poznań and characterized by utilitarian values.

The research subject of the theses should concern a chosen issue about the City of Poznań, selected from a wide range of areas of its activities. The term of the research subject may relate to the history, current state and the future of Poznań.

In the 7^th edition of the competition, the dissertations on the city’s architecture, system of waste management and air pollution state above the center of Poznań were honored.
