TVN started broadcasting the Polish edition of the show entitled Wipeout-Wymiatacze which is well-known around the world.
Among the competitors there are three students of the University School of Physical Education in Poznań ? fitness world champion under 21, Natalia Bocian, rower Tomasz Kucharski and long-distance runner Piotr Bętkowski. The show was shot for three weeks, last September and October in Argentina. Four teams: Poles, Ukrainians, Belarusians, and combined forces of Czechs and Slovaks competed on the extreme obstacle course.
The competitors had to overcome the obstacle course full of amazing surprises, which had been constructed especially for the show. On land, in water, mud and air, the brave ones competed for the Wipeout Cup.
Each team was composed of twenty competitors, including two reserve ones. Subsequent episodes of Wymiatacze will be aired on Sundays at 18 and will be rerun on Saturdays at 12:40. After the first episode, the Polish team is outrun by the Ukrainian team only. |
