| Students will assist in preparation for UEFA EURO 2012 |

The City of Poznan authorities have signed together with the rectors of the Adam Mickiewicz University, the University of Economics and the Poznan University of Technology the letter of intent concerning the student internship programme on the UEFA Euro 2012 key investments. The student internship programme consists in creating by the company Infrastruktura Euro Poznan 2012 the possibilities for the 2nd level students to serve during the academic year in a three-month internship at the chosen investment project, according to the fixed plan of classes and activities for which students will receive remuneration. The programme commences on 1st March 2011 and will consist of the three parts. During the first one up to ten students will serve an internship, during the next ones the number of students may be bigger if it turns out to be necessary. The objective of this programme is first of all to create for students the possibilities of gaining new skills and experiences which may be useful in their future jobs. The investments of the Infrastruktura Euro Poznan 2012 company covered by the internship programme, under which it is possible to serve an engineering, legal, economic and sociological internship, are among others: the construction of the fast tram route to the railway station and the renovation of the public transport infrastructure.
