The Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University has a new seat. In the new building with its surface of 8.3 thousand square meters there are 33 lecture rooms and a lecture theatre with 400 seats. - Lectures for all our 7 thousand students will be taking place in only one building, instead of 17 different places as it used to be. These are new, perfectly equipped rooms that certainly will make a contribution towards higher studying comfort - says the dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, professor Tomasz Sokołowski. The cost of the investment amounted to 68 million zlotys, with 20.1 million zlotys coming from EU funds under the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Programme, 44 million from the budget of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the remaining funds constituting the own means of the university. The teaching building is the first stage of the Collegium Iuridicum Novum construction with a total area of 22 thousand square meters. Next investments will include: administration buildings, a faculty library and a car park for 220 cars. The total estimated cost of the investment is 175 million zlotys. |
