Academic LipDubSeveral days ago Poznan saw the premier of its Academic LipDub. It is the first such film in Poland to advertise not just one university but all the universities of one city. The premiere of the video coincided with a launch of another stage of Poznan's ?Academic Poznan? promotional campaign.

On the official site of the campaign, www.poznanprzyciaganajlepszych.pl, will feature short films. Heroes of the films ? Poznan students ? talk about the most popular universities and fields of study, recommend Poznan's most interesting places and events, and highlight diverse career opportunities. You can find all information on city's great variety of educational opportunities on the site.

The campaign intends to attract this year's high school graduates to study in Poznan and to show the city as an ideal place to study and spend one's leisure time. Activities will focus on the Internet, nowadays the most attractive medium for young people. Ads on students portals and vortals will be accompanied by net PR activities. Advertising activities will also be run on the radio. The campaign will be primarily addressed to high school graduates standing before the choice of a university, but also students who consider changing their field of study or further development (e.g. post-graduate studies). The campaign is also be addressed to parents, educators and guardians.

?Through the slogan for this year's campaign ? ?Study Poznan? ? we want to attract high-school graduates' attention to the educational opportunities of our city. We believe that Poznan is an attractive city for future students, as city offering an opportunity to gain a unique educational profile which is attractive in market terms.  The vast range of leisure opportunities, coupled with outstanding conditions for professional development make Poznan an ideal place to study. Attractive forms used throughout the campaign are to consolidate such opinions and attract high-school graduates and future students to Poznan,? says Mayor of Poznan, Ryszard Grobelny.

An part of the new campaign is a students LipDub. The video clip combines the highlighting of the academic opportunities of the city with promotion of its major attractions. The video features people - selected during an audition - who go around the city in such a way as to showcase Poznan's advantages in a simple yet catchy way. The Lipdub will be accompanied by a contest (the video can be watched on city's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com / poznanpl)

Academic Poznan promotional activities have been pursued for several years now. The first stage of  the Academic Poznan campaign was launched in 2009, following a launch of Poznan's new brand strategy and logo.

Poznan is a city with a truly academic atmosphere. With its wide range of educational, cultural, entertainment, sporting and recreational opportunities, Poznan makes for an ideal place to study. Poznan is home to 26 universities and offers an extensive range of available courses and the high educational and living standards. The total number of Poznan students is over 140,000 people. Poznan's largest university is Adam Mickiewicz University, which is attended by one third of all Poznan students. Every seventh student picks Poznan University of Technology; every tenth, University of Life Sciences; while every eleventh, the University of Economics.
