Among this year?s first year Poznan students there are 29 City of Poznan Grant Holders. The Mayor of Poznan, Ryszard Grobelny, awarded laureates and finalists of national subject contests starting their studies in Poznan. It is the third edition of the scholarship programme as part of the Academic Poznan Programme. Thus Poznan has encouraged another group of the most talented recent secondary-school graduates to study in our city.

Scholarship applications were submitted by 73 candidates, after becoming acquainted with the opinion of the Management Board of the Academic Poznan Programme, the Mayor of the City awarded the scholarship to 29 people, current students of the first year of different Poznan higher education institutions. 25 of them are laureates - some of them won the title several times ? of subject contests at the national level and four of them are finalists.
