The Poznan University of Economics received commendation in the ?Technologies facilitating studies and access to knowledge? category of the ?Most innovative and creative university in Poland? competition organised by the Academic Information Centre in Poznan.
In the public universities category, the first place was awarded to the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), while the Łazarski University in Warsaw won among the non-public universities.
The participating universities were subject to close evaluation comprised of the analysis of surveys examining various aspects of these establishments? operations. The main features evaluated in the ?technologies facilitating studies and access to knowledge? category included, in the first place, the Internet candidate registration system, e-Deanery, electronic student?s registration book, virtual access to library catalogues, reading room and possibility to benefit from the Internet versions of magazines and newspapers. |
