President Heliodor Święcicki?s bench, a monument to the first President of the Adam Mickiewicz University, was erected just before the edifice of the Collegium Minus of the Poznan university.
The sculpture was created by Grzegorz Godawa and financed by the Adam Mickiewicz University, AMU Foundation and AMU Alumni Association. The unveiling of the monument is a part of the May events organised by the University to celebrate the first year of the anniversary of the anniversary decade. The decade will be crowned in 2019 ? with celebration of the 100th anniversary of Poznan University?s establishment. |
